It will start at 4 p.m. inside the Mactan Export Zone (MEPZ) 2 grounds. Registration fee is at P300 each for the categories 1K, 5K and 10K. Registration will start on Feb. 27. Just go to any of these places: Persimmon in Mabolo, Runnr in Ayala Center Cebu, iMEZ building at Pueblo Verde, AboitizLand admin office and AboitizLand residential communities.

The run is organized by the Lactation Attachment Training Counseling and Help (LATCH) in partnership with AboitizLand.

The proceeds the event will get will help complete the human milk bank and pasteurizer at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

It will also promote LATCH’s campaign on breastfeeding.

Advantages of Breast Milk

The National Nutrition Council VII always promotes the benefits of breast milk and breastfeeding to all mothers.

“Mommies! Make sure to breastfeed your babies after giving birth up to 6 months as it brings many benefits to your child. You are also encouraged to continue breastfeeding your child up to two years and more.” ~NNC VII / Text and image by NNC VII
